There are a lot of different things in life that really get you down. These things are usually economic woes, and job woes, and all sorts of other things that bring you down. However, there are times when other things can really throw a brick into your fun, and if you are not careful, you too could be one of the millions of people that suffer from sexually transmitted diseases. For instance, Pubic Lice, is something that no one really talks about in terms of sexually transmitted diseases. The reasoning for not talking about it, is usually in terms of the probability of contacting the disease. There are those that have put out a statistic that would cite studies saying that the increase of getting Pubic Lice, is only about thirty percent higher from having unprotected sex.

Math geeks are not going to like those odds and you shouldn’t really trust your out gut feeling about these things. You should really understand the greater good that comes from education and protection. Remember that these things do not go away by themselves at all, these things happen when you least expect them. If you believe that you might have Pubic Lice, then you really should go see a doctor. Doctors have seen much worse and they are there to make you feel bad about your situation, they are there to help.

Pubic Lice, is not something you should take lightly. But it also is not something that you may die from. No one dies from just this disease. This sexually transmitted disease also comes with other problems, and the magnification of woes could really tear up your immune system and complicate your health in the long run. Why would anyone play with their health? Really, if you see any sort of changes with your body, the first thing you should do is go out there and see a physician. There are people out there that, for whatever reasons, just do not see the urgency that comes from seeing the warning signs of sexually transmitted diseases.

Pubic Lice usually gives you symptoms that are not hard to spot. These signs and warnings are usually involving changes with your pubic region. If you are not careful and are sexually active, you might start to see sores, discharge, or something else that will be the signs for you to worry about what is going on with your body. This goes for men and women alike. Both men and women can contract this disease and things do not get better without treatment. Treatment for this disease is simple, you go to the doctor and they prescribe a lotion or shampoo that is not too intrusive or crazy. You will be cured of this problem and hopefully you can learn your lesson. It is a hard lesson to learn, but you need to pay attention to your sexual health like you would your overall well being. Do not gamble with your sexual health, it is far more important than a lot of people let it be.

One of the most common and frustrating problems bugging many people today is the pubic lice infestation and it can attack people regardless of age or gender. Typically they also referred to as crabs lay their eggs called nits in the pubic hair. In about two weeks these nits become full fledged adult crabs.

Itching is the most common symptom of the presence of this infestation and it is so embarrassing to have to scratch your pubic area in a crowd.

This infestation is not something to be taken as a joke. Don’t pass it off, because if the itching persists and there are severe lesions due to itching, it could well lead to a skin infection. This is totally a human infection and cannot be transmitted from animals.

You generally realize that you have an infestation by the presence of nits on the hair in your genital area. But do not despair. Crabs can be treated.

There are many lice treatment medications that you can buy form the drug store. There is a shampoo called pediculicide that contains 1% permethrin or pyrethrin that is commonly used to eliminate the problem, and they are available without prescription. You also have a solution known as Licadex, which is said to be very effective, but the only drawback is that you will have to wait for it to be sent to you. There are also certain natural ingredients that are available in the market that can help you get rid of lice. They contain certain natural oils that cannot be tolerated by them lice.

To avoid contracting the infestation, ensure that you always use only your own clothes. Especially if you know that someone has pubic lice, avoid using their towels, sheets etc. Abstain from sexual intercourse. As you well know prevention is any day better than cure, so it would be best to avoid getting the infestation rather than treating it after it has been contracted.

Pubic lice can be a really irritating problem. Many find it difficult to live with it and get rid of it. Click here to know more about lice treatment

Pubic lice, also called crabs are tiny six legged creatures usually found in the pubic area of human beings. But at times they can also be seen the mustache, armpits, beard etc. The infestation is a universal problem.

Typically, adult female lice lays eggs called nits that hatch into baby lice called nymphs. These nymphs grow into adults within a matter of about 6-7 days. An adult louse has about 30 days life and feed off the blood that they suck from the human body.

This infestation is generally spread through sexual contact or through contact with objects that have been infected earlier, like under garments, pillow cases, sheets etc. This is usually found in adolescents, but it can affect people of any age of any gender.

Itching is the main sign of this infestation and it is worse at night. The lice bite is visible as a lesion on the skin and excessive itching can lead to an infection. Their existence can be detected by examining the hair in the genital area. If you have the infestation you may be able to see the nits and the lice between the hair. The nits are generally grayish white in color and oval in shape. The presence of nits will confirm the existence of these crabs.

The first thing to do if you have the infestation is to abstain from having sex, so that you do not transmit them to your partner. Though lack of personal hygiene is not a cause for the presence of pubic lice, it would be better to practice it.

If you are a victim of this infestation get yourself treated immediately, so that others in your home will not contract it too. You will find many over the counter drugs to combat pubic lice. Your pharmacist can suggest a good remedial medication for it.

Once you have got rid of your infestation, ensure that you wash all your clothes including sheets and pillow case in hot water. If you have items that cannot be washed seal them in plastic bags to be opened only after a period of two weeks. One good news about these lice is that they are easy to kill and generally one treatment should solve your predicament.

Nothing is worse than contracting a sexually transmitted disease and one of the common among these is pubic lice. This problem is just like head lice, but they affect a more vulnerable part of your body and can be extremely traumatic. It can spread very easily through sexual contact, but can be treated effectively. They are commonly referred to as pubic crabs. This disease is usually transmitted through unprotected sex.

These lice are actually very tiny insects or parasites which thrive in a warm atmosphere. These insects are extremely hostile to light and will run into the shadows if you examine them with a torch. They are called crabs as they look very similar to crabs in form.

The common symptoms of this problem are severe itching and sores in your genital area. This can be contracted by both men and women alike. If you by chance happen to discover that you are a victim of pubic lice, you do not have to panic. Just go a consult a specialist immediately. A doctor will help you to get rid of this irritating problem that you are suffering from.

The most common treatments that are prescribed by doctors to cure pubic lice are lotions and shampoos which are supposed to be applied on to your genital area. The soreness and itching will gradually disappear and you will be free of this problem within a short while. But remember that if you are not careful, the problem may reappear again.

Pubic lice can be a real nuisance and there is every chance that you can become a victim of this infestation if you are a person who is sexually very active and indulge in unprotected intercourse. If you do not attend to the problem immediately, this can create bigger problems in future. So it is very important that you should be aware of this sexually transmitted disease and take all necessary precautions to avoid contracting it.

Most of us are familiar with the infection of pubic lice. These lice belong to the group of parasites that dwells on the body fluid of human beings. These creatures are found in the genital regions of both ladies and gents. A large number of people are found affected by this infection. Mostly, children are not prone to this. Provided they are not exposed to sexual misuse or such sexual pursuits. It is because there is a chance for them to get affected by it.

Getting into unhealthy sexual contacts is one of the main reasons for the propagation of the infection. There remains another risk like with the use of the same towels, linens and outfits. There exists a falsehood to the cause of such Sexually Transmitted Diseases that there is a chance for the infection to be caught with the utilization of the same lavatory seat. But it is an absurd argument since those crabs don’t have such specialized legs so that they could sling on to a toilet seat.

Rigorous scratch and annoyance being experienced in the pubic area is a sure indication for the infection. Within a few days the area is found to have a grayish blue coloration and certain scratching sores. Make it a point that you keep away from sexual contact since this Sexually Transmitted Disease could be transferred to the spouse.

If you are doubted that you are affected with this STD, check for those nits, nymphs and mature crabs around the pubic hairs. If necessary, make use of a microscope for verification. If they are found, a detailed checking is necessary for the other family members and should opt for the best medical treatment.

There are a variety of treatments available for this STD. Commonly preferred items are Permethrin 1 % cream wash and Pyrethrins. The usage is quite simple that you only need to apply them on the surface and sponge down and cleanse after ten minutes. It is very essential to cut off the hairs on pubic area and make it a point that you swap your bed sheets frequently.

The next set of pubic-lice treatment is the usage of lindane shampoo. It is not preferred much because of the adverse effects caused by it. Results have proved that the proper administration of the lindane shampoo will not affect badly, in fact, it is tremendously useful.

Before going for the pubic lice treatment, you should ensure that all your clothes are cleansed and made dirt free in hot water. For those materials that cannot be washed, shower it with medicated spray and enclose them in plastic covers. Care should be taken for not using them for about some weeks.

It is always better not to engage in sexual contact with the person affected with the STD’s of this sort. Ensure that you clean your pubic area frequently. All these measures are sufficient enough to help you lead a STD-free life. For, Prevention is better that Cure.

Pubic lice can turn into a serious menace if it is not taken care in the initial stages. If the Pubic lice menace is not checked, it can spread its access to other family members and your friends.

You may be familiar with the term pubic lice infections as they are common among many people round the world. These parasitic insects often known by the name ‘crabs’ are seen in the genital tracts or in the pubic areas of both males and females and thus carries the moniker ‘pubic’ lice. Children are less prone to the infestation but if any may be due to the sexual exploitation or abuse.

The major mode of transmission is by sexual contact though there is a minute risk for transmission through use of same linens and towels. There is a common myth related to pubic infection which says that the infection may spread by use of same toilet. But this is an utter misconception as these ‘crabs’ can’t cling on to any smooth surfaces nor can survive without normal human body temperature.

The major symptom of this infestation is vigorous scratching in the pubic region making the area greyish blue in very few days and also the itching may lead to sores and wounds in the region. It’s advised to avoid the sexual intercourse with partner till the complete cure of this menace as otherwise it may get transmitted to your partner too.

One can check for the infection through detailed examination of the pubic hairs for nymphs, nits or even adult lice. Microscopic examination may be helpful for confirming the infection and if at all found infected then it is better for the whole family to receive the treatment.

Various creams and other shampoos are available for treating the infection. Permethrin 1% cream wash and pyrethrins are commonly used for the lice treatment. You should apply the cream over the area and wash it after 10 or 15 minutes. Also shave the area nicely and change the bed linens to avoid further infestation and repeat the treatment until fully cured.

Lindane shampoo is commonly used as a second round means for the lice treatment. The correct means of application of this shampoo helps to wipe out the infection in the most effective manner though some adverse effects are seen if used otherwise. Any how its use is not much common.

While undergoing the treatment, be alert of rinsing and washing your clothes and linens in hot water. Linens which are not washable should be treated with some medicated spray and should be packed well in plastic covers; also avoid the usage for 2-3 weeks or until the infection has completely treated.

Since prevention is always better than cure, be alert of your personal hygiene and this can help you to go much without any infection or infestation. Keep yourself clean especially the skin folds and genital areas. Avoid sexual contact with infected people. Change your wet and soiled clothes as and when needed. Avoid using the same towels and clothes of infected ones. All this will help you to keep away fro the pubic lice.

Pubic lice can turn into a serious menace if it is not taken care in the initial stages. If the Pubic lice menace is not checked, it can spread its access to other family members and your friends.

At the outset one has to understand that pubic lice often called crabs have nothing to do with poor cleanliness. They are very minute bloodsucking bugs that live in the genital areas like pubic hair. These insects are yellowish grey in color and are transmitted from a person who already has them and in sometimes through the use of personal items like bath towels or clothes. Pubic lice must not be confused with head lice though the treatment process is rather similar.

The symptoms of pubic lice are similar in both men and women. Typically one feels itching in the area infected with lice, and very often there will be a black powder-like droppings from the lice in ones under garment, one suffers irritation and soreness in the area, and sometimes one can see tiny flecks of blood on the skin, but that do not remain for too long. They are visible to the eye.

There are mainly two types of treatment for pubic lice, like chemical based over the counter lotions or creams, but ensure that you seek the advice of a doctor before buying the medication. Generally the lotion or cream is left on the affected area for some time and then washed off. One could also use an extremely fine toothed comb in order to gat at them and the nits. The other means of treatment is to use natural ingredients to eradicate the crabs.

These insects are immune to many chemicals and manufacturers are increasing the strength of the components, but this could be harmful to those who have very sensitive skin. So treat crabs with natural elements like neem oil which can be as potent as some of the chemicals that are used for treatment. Moreover neem oil is absolutely safe on the skin. Pubic lice treatment with natural ingredients would be a far better option and healthier too. Really excellent natural remedies not only efficiently rid one of the crabs, but also helps to relieve and cure any rashes that have erupted during the process of the severe and persistent scratching.

Pubic lice can turn into a serious menace if it is not taken care in the initial stages. If not checked it can spread its access to other family members and your friends.
